Bicycles Bridge Communities
2022 Kaiser Permanente Bike Everywhere Breakfast
Wednesday, May 25, 2022 | 7-9 a.m.
Bell Harbor Conference Center
Join hundreds of Washington community leaders, bicycle advocates, and bicycling enthusiasts in support of our efforts to bridge divides in our society and build a better, healthier, more equitable and sustainable future.
Donations of any size have a huge impact. Suggested Minimum Donation is $150.
The theme for our annual fundraising breakfast, is “Bicycles Bridge Communities.” We have been inspired over the past two years by the many ways that bikes have brought us together and bridged communities: from literal bike bridges on the Palouse to Cascade Trail and at the new Northgate light rail station, to the symbolic bridges that our Pedaling Relief Project provides between food banks, their clients, and our pedal-powered volunteers.
This year, our Doug Walker Award recipients are state Sen. Marko Liias and state Rep. Jake Fey, who worked hard to win passage of $1.3 billion in funding for bike infrastructure and education in the Move Ahead Washington transportation package.
Executive Director Lee Lambert will take the podium after eight months on the job to speak about Cascade’s past and future, celebrate our accomplishments and look ahead to the priorities we will pursue in 2022 and beyond. Recent wins include the repeal of King County’s racially discriminatory and ineffective helmet law in King County and the opening of the $56 million John Lewis Memorial Bridge in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood.
We will also hear from Kris Greco Thompson, Vice President, Public Relations, Communications, and Brand Management, and Dr. Eddy Tay, Service Line Medical Director, Neurology from Kaiser Permanente Washington, our title sponsor.
By registering and attending, you will be entered to win a FREE Dragon Bicycles carbon fiber bike, worth $1,799.

Cascade in the Community
As a member-based non-profit Cascade represents a diverse range of bicyclists in statewide communities. Cascade’s goal is to support these communities with three main pillars: Advocacy, Community, and Education. These pillars are key aspects of our work to ensure that all Washingtonians have access to safe bicycling infrastructures. When your organization joins us in an organizational partnership, you support all three of these pillars and further Cascade’s mission. We teach the joys of bicycling, advocate for safe places to ride, and produce world-class rides and events. We see this strategy as a way to ensure longstanding and authentic partnerships between the Cascade community and partners. Visit the following pages for information on upcoming rides and events:
